Spatial Vision’s 2022 Graduate Cadet Program now has a Software Development stream, working with our Lapis brand. The program offers A 12-month paid work placement for graduates with the opportunity to design and deliver your own project.
1. Mentoring and Coaching
At Lapis, you will learn everything about Software Development through mentoring and coaching. You will be a part of our experienced development team and you will be paring with a senior team member from day 1.

2. Balanced, Cross-Functional Team
Our cross-functional team is made up of specialists in the fields including Product Owners, Business Analysts and Specialists in QA, Security, Mobile and DevSecOps.
You’ll never be alone
You will be with your cross-functional team every step of the way through for a range of service delivery projects, working with leaders, seniors and juniors alike so you can learn from a diverse and enriched learning experience.
BdDevSecOps (you sell it, you build it and you run it)
Thanks to the fixed service delivery team, you will also learn about Business Development and Operational pipeline end to end. We share it all within the team and encourage you to bring your idea to further help our clients.

The 10,000-hour rules
Software development can be a complex business and let’s be honest - it takes time to become a Ninja, along with deliberate, consistent practice and strong mentoring and coaches.
This does not mean you should be working late or on the weekend. At Lapis, we encourage you to focus on one task at a time and finish on time so you can come back the next day with a fresh mind.
Some people might spend their time for further learning in tech and others spent their time for recreational or with their family. You can learn so many other things outside your professional job, and we encourage you to do so!
Taco, Ping-Pong and Social Events
We have an honest and direct reward system using Taco in our slack. You might receive a monthly staff award if you have achieved something amazing.
We love playing Ping-Pong at our office in the CBD and have a Friday drink and fun whenever we get together. Our leader (your boss), Imran often arranges a quarterly team dinner with a fun social event.
